Hi, folks! :)
Last night I tried the simple Swipe
technique with acrylic paints on an old square carton box.
To be honest I watched a video on YouTube of a lady making a whole lot of different astonishing pour / swipe paintings.
I couldn't wait to share the results to my blog.
As Bob Ross says: "You don't have to worry about it, there are layers of paint on your brush and amazing things just happen..."
Not quite sure.. I'm paraphrasing :)
But it is true!
I'm still new to analog painting.
Learning my way since 2012 maybe?!
how it began? (* this very one)
I have no painting knife...
So immediately thought of this cake spatula since the beginning :)
/not using the brand new brushes for now.../
A bit rusty with a nice engravement for a special shading :P
let's go!
It was later when I found out & remembered the carton surface is not ideally flat... however was pleased to see the wet paint mix.
I have no hair dryer, but still could use the setting sun...
I really love how the magic happens...
Getting ready for layer 2... and some new paintings!
See you soon! :)
