After learning about fairytales, folklore, and legends that demonize forests and all included in it, individuals were torn between what they read about in fiction and what was explained by science. Some couldn't separate the two, so chose to continue to avoid the outdoors, especially the forests.
The scenario reminds me of earlier centuries in which people were burned at the stake for what others gossiped and whispered about them being of an odd nature or acting in an inappropriate manner.
Zealots designated these individuals as witches who were able to conjure up and command unholy things by their standards. Often without proof of wrongdoing, these people, especially women were ill-treated, tortured, and put to death.
In order for humans to move past their fears and prejudices, they must separate fact from fiction.
For my current design in the series, I wanted to portray indecision. The dilemma of not being able to come to terms with fact and fiction. I called upon two stable diffusion images from StarryAI to assist with creating the human face of delight in the head, but agony in the eyes.
This first version depicts the terror in the eyes:

But my most successful blending was compiling my pure fractal titled "Top Side" in which the green color is vivid. I have no idea now why I named the fractal thus, but it certainly paired well to erect a green-colored shield.
Below are my procedures for developing the images.
Text input:
"Beautiful woman of color, thin lips, close-up face turned to the left, elegant features, beautiful green eyes, face encased in reptilian."
Style: Fantasy

Text Input:
"Fantasy eyes shown with only the eyes that are large distorted and menacing. Some drip horror."

In my design program, Canva, I blended the different type images, starting with a blank, white canvas. I then added layers of elements with tools that included background removal, resizing, filtering, duplicating, detaching images from their backgrounds, and repositioning items as required.
