I just noticed that the #Ecency frontend no longer allows voting on posts and comments which are already more than 7 days old. π€π€― A few days ago, it allowed voting on such content, with a notice that the rewards for such content would no longer increase !INDEED. π€―π€― #PeakD still allows such action, whose notice is Rewards have already been paid out for this post. However, you may still add your name to the list of voters.. π€π

That's really odd, especially since that was a specific change during one of the Hard Forks, to allow votes to be counted, regardless of whether they were under the payout threshold, or if the post or comment was past 7 days. πππβ¨π€

I don't know why such changes get implemented, and fixes for an increasing number of bugs (such as notifications requiring refresh to show up, emoji picker automatically closing after selecting a single emoji, the "exclude reblogs" on Followed feed not taking effect, among others) not getting applied !INDEED. π€π€―π€―

I saw that the #Ecency (core) team has reduced their Hive Proposal funding request from 396 HBD per day to 300 HBD (approximately a 24% decrease) according to their post. π€π€ !HOPE that even with reduced funding, the Ecency team has at least one member whose task is to reply to as many (meaningful) comments on the official Ecency account as possible !INDEED! π€π

I should give it a try for some posts, to get used to it. I've used PeakD for publishing posts because it's been the most reliable for me so far. See, with the old way I could boost all my posts, not just select ones posted only through the Ecency frontend. π π π β¨ π€

Well I do know that it's kind of a free for all wild west with the curators, with each one following their own principles, and voting or not, as they see fit. I was never crazy about that. I love Enency, but there are several things about the frontend, and how it's operated, that annoy and frustrate me. π π π β¨ π€

What I wanted to say was that 2 to 3 years ago, the #Ecency curation team wanted to curate only posts (and long comments) that were published using the Ecency frontend. π€ Even though having used the Ecency frontend to publish content is no longer strictly required, the curators would still prefer to curate content published through the Ecency frontend (before and after the Points Boosting feature was removed). π
Anyway, your !BEER command worked even if your comment also contains another bot command (which is !LOLZ). π
Ah, OK. I'm glad that it's not strickly required. I having published 1-3 posts every single day since February 1, 2022, I need a frontend to have all the features that I need, and be very stable and reliable.
That's good to hear. Most tipping bots are quite hit or miss at the moment, some being a bit more reliable than other.
