"I go to nature to be soothed and healed, and to have my senses put in order." — John Burroughs
Greetings Hivers!! 🌿
I'm back for another nature walk with my cousin.
A few weeks ago, I shared that I took a morning walk with my cousin that ended up at the beachfront. I enjoyed the morning breeze and the warm sun.
Today, I want to share another walk we had. This time, we walked before sunset.

We visited another relative and explored the hilly terrain.
We saw tall trees with spreading branches full of green leaves, creating a natural canopy for everyone who passes by.
There were lots of fruit-bearing trees, such as mangoes, santol (cotton fruit), jackfruit, and bananas. It was just a short visit.
As we walked back, I noticed that the sun was slowly dipping down the horizon.
It was a long walk from the hilly terrain to my cousin's house.
We took our time, we slowed down, and chatted while on our way.
My cousin shared some good news about her work. I was so happy for her.
We were so caught up in the conversation that we didn't realize we were already halfway home.

From the warm afternoon, it's now starting to cool down as the sun hides behind the hill.
We walked by the new esplanade, which was currently under construction.
It would be nice if, by the next time we walk here, we will be walking on the new bricked pathway.
Safe and comfortable.
