Greetings, dear hives and friends of #wednesdaywalk . Here I am, as every week with you, thanks to the excellent initiative of @tattoodjay , which will allow me to share once again another of my walks, today's was through a part of the charming sector La Fuente.
After concluding today an extensive management at the bank, my husband passed by me to facilitate a more comfortable return home. We just needed to make a small detour after buying some vegetables that we needed, for that reason we entered the Rio market, which for the hour was almost empty, so we bought quickly and continued on our way.
Saludos, queridos hives y amigos de #wednesdaywalk . Aquí estoy, como cada semana con ustedes, gracias a la excelente iniciativa de @tattoodjay , que me permitirá compartir una vez más otro de mis recorridos, el de hoy fue por una parte del encantador sector La Fuente.
Después de concluir hoy una extensa gestión en el banco, mi esposo pasó por mí para facilitar un regreso más cómodo a casa. Solo necesitábamos hacer un pequeño desvío después de comprar algunas verduras que necesitábamos, por esa razón entramos al mercado de Rio, que por la hora estaba casi vacío, por lo que compramos rápidamente y continuamos camino.
Arriving at the La Fuente sector, which was the detour we would make, we entered the main road to La Polvorosa because my husband had to deliver a document to a co-worker.
When we got there, I was struck by how a part of this sector had decorated its walls, creating a very striking decoration with a mixture of clay and anime, with very unique shapes that were between the weird and the beautiful. I immediately asked who was the artist who had created such works of art, but only one man answered me that it was an idea of the mayor's office many years ago.
Al llegar al sector La Fuente, que era el desvío que haríamos, entramos por la vía principal hasta La Polvorosa porque mi esposo tenía que entregar un documento a un compañero de trabajo.
Al llegar allí, me llamó poderosamente la atención cómo una parte de este sector había adornado sus muros, creando una decoración bastante llamativa con una mezcla de arcilla y anime, con formas muy singulares que incursionanva entre lo raro mezclados con lo hermoso. Enseguida pregunté quién era el artista que había realizado semejantes obras de arte, pero solo un señor me respondió que fue una idea de la alcaldía hace muchos años.
Some of the walls already show signs of deterioration due to the passage of time, although they strive to maintain them with great dedication. These manifestations of urban art are a clear example of how culture and creativity can beautify and give life to public spaces, turning them into meeting and reflection points for residents and visitors.
Algunos de los muros ya muestran signos de deterioro por el paso del tiempo, aunque se esfuerzan por mantenerlos con bastante dedicación. Estas manifestaciones de arte urbano son un claro ejemplo de cómo la cultura y la creatividad pueden embellecer y dar vida a los espacios públicos, convirtiéndolos en puntos de encuentro y reflexión para los habitantes y visitantes.
After enjoying this work of art, continuing on our way, we took a road unknown to us. We were informed that it was the old Tirano road, a not very encouraging road due to its irregularity, but it offered beautiful views, which I photographed to share with you. I really liked these landscapes because it reminds me a lot of the countryside of my homeland (Cuba). These images capture the essence of a landscape that is intertwined with history, silently narrating the stories of those who once walked there.
Después de disfrutar de esta obra de arte, continuando nuestro camino, tomamos una carretera desconocida para nosotros. Nos informaron que era la antigua carretera del Tirano, un camino no muy alentador debido a su irregularidad, pero que ofrecía unas vistas hermosas, las cuales fotografié para compartir con ustedes. Me gustaron mucho estos paisajes porque me recuerda mucho a los campos de mi tierra natal (Cuba ). Estas imágenes capturan la esencia de un paisaje que se entrelaza con la historia, narrando silenciosamente las de aquellos que alguna vez transitaron por allí.
Finally, we went out to the usual avenue for us and headed home, with the satisfaction of having accomplished all the pending tasks of the day and the excitement of having discovered something new, like that beautiful clay wall. I hope you liked these little gems of our environment as well.
Finalmente, salimos a la avenida habitual para nosotros y nos dirigimos a casa, con la satisfacción de haber cumplido con todas las tareas pendientes del día y la emoción de haber descubierto algo nuevo, como ese hermoso muro de arcilla. Espero que estas pequeñas joyas de nuestro entorno también les hayan gustado.
