Here we are at #wednesdaywalk #47 of 2025, and there is only a few more to go this year!
First, I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - Congrats to you!

So for this weeks #wednesdaywalk I had a somewhat different opportunity! I had bought a "new" bike last week online and it got delivered today! I had such a good time I forgot to take any photos of the bike - but I do have several from the trip!
So to get started I got this photo of the Skies when I was at the old house. It was on my way so I decided to stop by and show off the bike,
On my way back I saw that the Canal over there looked pretty good in the late afternoon. Lots of reflections do I took a few photos. This is looking out towards Padre Island,
And a close-up to the left. Yes indeed the same ones from Halloween are decorating for X-MAS as well!
And this is the view back towards the neighborhoods,
Down the road a few miles I noticed that the mist from the water was looking like a Rainbow. From a distance you can see it coming in along the Shoreline,
And a lot further down the road - and a few moments later,
Then I headed a bit inland and saw this Sunset in the West,
And just when I thought it was over...
I caught the X-Mas Parade cutting across the Island! The traffic was stopped as the Parade cut through,
These are escort vehicles from the Parade,
And I have to say, "this is one of the events that makes me proud of this place"! It has been going on before I got here 28 years ago. They take out a few ambulance's, police cars, and other things and throw out candy! They pick different streets every night till X-Mas. It gives it here a since of community, that I know does not exist where I grew up in New Jersey.
And that was it for this weeks #wednesdaywalk !
