So my friends for this week's #wednesdaywalk at the end of the month I have some photos from the "breeding pond" area at the Park, or at least one of them!
So here was the shoreline, still a lot of dead Seagrass and sludge from the Gulf (of Mexico) blowing in,
So, let's go in that little trail on the right,
A bit overgrown with grass, well they will be here in the next few weeks for maintenance. Let's see how far they get.
And there is the "breeding pond"!
And a little bit broader view,
I don't want to be here too long, as it is frowned on to be here. I have seen people fishing here - I hope they were tourist.
And in this photo, you can see a full assortment of young birds! Sorry it is from so far, but it is risky (law wise) to get any closer!
After that, I left the Park. This is the road that leads into the Park. And there is a Seagull on a Pole,
A closer photo. It is surprising that it didn't fly away. Notice how the beak is not "blood red", and it's head is not black either,
Well as the photos suggest, from there I headed home. I did take some other photos, but they were somewhat unrelated so "they didn't make the cut"!
And that was it for this the last Wednesday of the July 2024. As always, thank you again for your visit!
Take Care of Your Loved Ones!
Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy!
