I was bery surprised by the animal i saw climb over some rocks and hide under some plants.
If i had not been looking out my front window toward the driveway i would never had noticed it.
I had been looking to see if the rabbits were in the yard that I normally watch eat the grass and play around. Here is a photo of two of them. One by the sidewalk close to bottom right of photo just on the left side of the sidewalk. The other one is just above that one on the opposite side of the sidewalk under the bush.
I had not seen them in a few days and there had been some string winds and a lot of rain so i was hoping they were ok.
I noticed an animal get into the area in front of these big rocks hoping it was one of the rabbits but the quick glane i got it seemed slightly bigger than a rabbit with ling thin legs.
I decided imto check it out and see what type of animal it was. Boy was I surprised to see it was a very little baby fawn. I did not see the mother deer anywhere around and was wondering about this.
That evening i saw the mother and baby on the side of the driveway walking into the lot next door. I was happy to see they were together and safe.
