There is joy in helping from the heart and not just for show

Doing good things from our heart is truly important and the intention behind the action is also as important as the action itself.

When we help people or give to charity with pure heart, our heart is filled with a different kind of joy and happiness. Which makes us whole and fulfilled knowing that we made a difference today, not just any difference but a positive difference.

There is a colleague at my place of work, he does things for show. Yes, I said for show because he is only doing it so everyone will see him and not doing it because it is the right thing to do. I've heard talks between staffs about him and it's usually not good talks, I tried talking to him to change his attitude but seems my talks fell on deaf ears.

I believe there is a special kind of warmth and gratitude we feel when someone helps us sincerely and when it's just done for their own benefits.

Some people donate money and other things online just so they can show off, and compete with others, some people might say, 'who cares why they did it? As long it was done for a good reason.

I believe we should aim high. When we do good things from our hearts, it's creates a ripple effect. It helps to inspire people to be kind to others, it's builds trust. Real compassion has a way of multiplying and spreading that calculated good deeds just can't match.

Just imagine someone only helped you because they needed something or because they will gain something at the end. I know you will feel hurt. You will feel used or foolish for believing in their kindness. When you feel such pain, you will be less likely to trust people or help others in the future.

Should we judge people? I don't think so. Some people start doing good for less-than-perfect reasons but along the way discover real joy in helping people. And we're all a mix of selfish and selfless impulses. What matters is that we try to nurture our better nature.

Sometimes it's better to have imperfect charity than none at all, but while it's better, I believe we should strive to act from our hearts. We should give and help others because it's the right thing to do, not for praise or gain. This creates a more genuine, connected, and caring world for everyone.

Sometimes we can be tempted to do things just for show, when such happens we should pause and reconnect with our deeper values. Why does this cause matter? How would we feel if we are treated this way? Knowing this can help bring out our best selves.

At the end we notice that doing good is not just about the recipient. It is about becoming the kind of person we want to be, someone that adds light to the world. There is a reward that is greater than any number of likes and followers one gets.

The intention behind the help one is offering to lend is as important as the help itself. Permit me to say, most people who put up 'a show' when they do good or show kindness aren't really good. They portray who they are not just to get the applaud.

There is a different feeling/joy that comes with helping someone who cannot help you back or being happy just because you made the other person happy.

They portray who they are not just to get the applaud.

I have seen this a lot, I just shake my head at them.

Thanks for stopping by.

That lifestyle of giving to get likes or followers or for show off is never a commendable one. One should give away from the camera

Exactly. I wish many people know that.
