I agree with you, not all news should be passed to the people.

Also the part about citizens knowing their right also makes sense but do the less privilege benefit from knowing their right?

        It would be very difficult, especially in Nigeria where even the privileged are not being carried along

              The privileged might not be carried along but I think they are better than the less privileged. The less privileged usually suffers more.
