I only started to truly understand the importance of family when I moved away from home.

At home, I would always fight with my mom but once I’m away, we bond better than anything. Distance really makes us feel the void.

I believe that’s your kids will only use their phones during family time when you do same. Once you drop yours, they will also do same. It’s more like a mentor - mentee relationship.
