If one is to be seriously working all year round it will come to a point that depression will come knocking on the door and before long the victim will be overtaken this is why it is important to create some time to rest from our busy schedule. I always have this saying that money no dey finish, there was money before I came to the world and money will still be there after I depart so there is no need to over load myself just to make this money.
One critical thing I have observed overtime is, the people far from us are so close more than those we have in the same house this is just because of the amount of time and value we have give to them. This goes so bad to the point that people in the same house are sick or trying to relate how terrible they are feeling, because our phone and those in there seems to be of more value we fail to give them that listening ears.
Growing up some family learnt to stay and relate so well, most times due to the level of love that was introduced by the parents some siblings can't just do without the other. I remember those days that myself and my immediate elder brother do things in common to the point that many thought we were twins.
Now that we are all grown and have our families we hardly come together except on special occasions. In my own few, family time should be sacred sacred in the sense that nothing should come in between. As I said earlier,, some persons use their phone to the point that they don't mind what's happening around. Hence we are not always together, those little time we share together should be hallowed and memorable.
Not that a law should be made to this effect, but by understanding people should just know that it is what should be down. The last Christmas I traveled to be with my family, I didn't just bother myself with much work because I know we will not stay forever and I just needed to create that lasting memory with them. Till date my kids still make reference to the place they visited and the people they met.
Putting the law, no phones during family time is not so necessary to me, we are all grown and now what is good to be done, when it is put as a law people will make reasons not to abide by it, so it's better the way we work in understanding. The time we spent together, calls comes in and people take their calls. Also, the phone is important so that some good moment can be captured. My sister is so good at capturing action pictures.
The importance of family time should not be underrated because everyone comes from a family, infact that is the beginning and ending of everyone, so we need to give them some good time so it will serve a memorial too.
