Children can be allowed to take some decisions but must have undergone the routine of being responsible o as not to take the wrong steps.
Giving children some privacy isn't a problem as far as I am.concernwd but what needed to be done is to ensure that the child is prepared for such a space.
Parents, no matter what, will always be in the lives of their children.
