It is fundamentally unfair and unjust for ordinary citizens to be made to suffer for leaders' foolishness, especially when the leader's decision involves causing war.

Personally, I believe a leader is like a representative of the people, and he should be watchful of whatever decision he makes that may harm the people who put him in that position. Although I am not familiar with governmental policy, I feel that a ruler is chosen to act as a leader for the people in a good way, not to direct them in the wrong direction. Though there are times war can be the solution to a challenge, it's the job of a leader to look for other alternatives on how to manoeuvre over this, and when the war starts, he shouldn't be protected if he is sure he made the right decision, he should also go to war with them too.
Nowadays, people idolise presidents as if they are untouchable and fear speaking up against their wrongdoing. The government also blocks their channels of communication. For example, a Tanzanian president killing people for using her voice to do TikTok comedy edits. This is an act of foolishness that a leader should not portray.
I feel countries will be better when there is a polling social channel made worldwide where people can complain without facing any court charges or governmental discrimination. Most of our social media and News channels are compromised. There we can lay our complaint without being criticised online and also share our views and opinions without any issue.

A leader is representative, so also a president. I have watched a video of a popular country president walking on the street without any security bodyguards, and probably a random explorer just saw the person and was stunned to see a president walk freely. Unlike our African leaders who move with full conviction that can fill a house because he is scared of the ordinary citizen they refused to do their duty to. We need to put these leaders in their place and let them know leadership is not meant to be hereditary but to be earned by people's support.
A leader who does not have the interest of the citizen in their mind is not meant to be called a leader, and if a leader offends any country, they should share their discussion with the public and not the conclusion.
There are sometimes leaders who should be defended for the decisions they make, but at least the leader should let the citizen know their reasons for the decision they are taking and not leave everyone less important. A good leader will understand this fact.
Yes, I'm ready to stand for my country and not the leader, if the leader's decision is wrong then there is no need for citizens to fall because of the leader's stupid acts or decision, a good leader should let the citizens see the clearer ethical mandate of the decision made so we the citizens don't get punished blindly.
