I got so frustrated on TikTok one time. So some people would confront strangers and make them feel bad for not being a vegan. It was all over my fyp
Nobody can make me feel bad for eating my chicken, never!!
I'm not a vegan and I don't think I can survive a week without tasting chicken hehe, Just kidding!
I'm a very picky eater, my mum would always have a problem with me for not eating the meal prepared in the house because of the type of protein used in preparing the meal. I eat beef, but not all the time, it just depends on how it tastes and looks .
I'm an on and off-vegetarian 😂; I know it sounds funny, but I'd rather eat my food empty than eat it with beef or pork sometimes. Sometimes I go days without eating or tasting any animal product.
Honestly,I don't think I can stay without eating eggs and chicken coz they're my favorite. For people who know me very well, I'm a lover of boiled eggs and chicken, I eat eggs almost everyday( don't judge me 😂). But if they're taken out of the equation, I'm sure I can turn a vegetarian that eats suya hahaha.
Being a vegetarian isn't healthier than being a nonvegetarian. I can still eat all the vegetables they eat and add my protein and that's a plus for me hehe.
Before I give my serious take on this topic, I respect all the vegetarians; you just do you. You don't have to dislike me all because I eat meat and i don't see anything wrong with it. Not everyone has to be a vegetarian.
This is a very vast topic, and I can go on and on with the pros and cons of both. But let me just share a few with you.
Vegetarianism and non vegetarianism which diet is more sustainable?
Vegetarianism
1. Being a vegetarian helps reduce the risk of chronic heart diseases and diabetes and so many more diseases we can contact from eating animals
2. They have Limited options on what they eat and also being a vegetarian is way too expensive(imagine buying carrots and bell peppers everyday In this economy, you must be very rich 😂)
3. And they require supplements for extra nutrients
Non vegetarianism
1. They get Much more nutrient and higher protein (meat provide nutrients like protein and iron)so you're good to go even tho you don't take them.
2. There might be health risks from eating too much meat. One can develop chronic heart diseases, diabetes just by eating too much meat.
Do you feel it's a healthier way of living?
At the end of the day, one can live the healthiest lifestyle and still end up dying from a chronic disease. Life always surprises us in ways that we least expect. That's why I will always stick to doing what I think is best for me. I eat meat all because I like it and I won't stop because of the cons.
