Nigerians are a group of tolerant people. We tolerate the excesses of our government. It's appalling to read the unfortunate economic summersaults over the years. Naira was stronger than USD in the 70s. In 1990, a dollar exchanged for 4 naira. Today, a dollar exchanged for more than 1500 naira. It is painful. In all of these, the political class are living large. We have the power to effect a change as a people but we have failed to use it. When we come together to exercise such a power, we may have a sigh of relief.
