Hello hiveleaeners, how are you doing today? When I saw the featured content, what came to my mind was my boss retiring from service.
This retirement is very important to me because the man is very good to me.
When my boss told us at the beginning of this year, I was not happy 😊😊 due to the fact that he's retiring from service.
The first boss I worked with for a year was Mr Tunji, he was a man I never see the signs of leadership. I worked with him for a year, he has never asked about my health, and lifestyle. My boss has never given me a dime. Even when I collected money worth more than #100,000 ($100) for him; he never says, ‘boy take this money’.
When he got into an accident, I never thought of his behavior; I visited him. It took him a year for his broken leg to heal.
But my present boss is different, he is a boss with a good heart ❤ ️. He sent us greeting every week, given us stipend every month, buy his subordinate gifts 🎁 and celebrate our birthday.
I only prayed for him to be my boss for a long time; I never knew that age was no longer in his sight. When I heard in the beginning of the year that he will retire in the month of July this year. I was not happy because I wanted him to stay longer in the service.
When Mr Tunji retired, I was very happy because he was not useful to his subordinates. There was nothing we could say about him; it was just one of the workers that presented him a gift; He was too stingy.
Because it was an important event for everyone working in the office; that was the reason most of the workers came to the event.
The present boss that is about to retire this year, we as workers are planning big for the event. I planned to buy a gift for him aside from the one we bought in the group. And many workers also prepare to buy him gifts.
His exemplary service to humanity is incredible. He had given me money countless times, bought me gifts and advised me to rest for days when he saw that I was weak. This exemplary service is what my previous boss did not have. His own was about money and himself.
I'm really preparing for the event, he's like a father to me because he talked to me like my father. He never ceased calling me on the phone, sending me text messages on Whatsapp and direct messages.
His attitudes toward his workers made him my best boss, and I'm happy to have him as my boss.
This Year makes him 35 years in service; he will retire July 2024.
MY PROMOTION LETTER
Another one I'm about to share is my promotion.. by the end of February, I will be promoted to level 9. I did a promotion exam in 2022. On 19th January 2024, I was shortlisted for a promotion exercise which took place on the 24th January 2024.
We thought the interview would be like the first time we were interviewed. The interview was not tough like the first time we were given an appointment letter. It was very simple.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself from being successful.
