Truly, zoos and wildlife recreational centres help protect wild animals from extinction but the issue is, long time in a confined space can have serious effects on the animals. Moreover there are some zoos that lack appropriate revenue, as a result of this they end up starving the animals.

Being held captive is kind of a costly price to pay in order to stay alive.

        Yes this is a valid point but so also is freedom. Nothing in life is easy. Everything is a risk.

        The best that can be done is for measures of balance to be implemented when sourcing animals and the government funding the zoos regularly.

        This can help curb the starving of animals issue.
