On this beautiful day, I am pleased to join the Creative Sunday initiative to share with you a recipe that fuses simplicity with deliciousness: an apple tart. Imagine the irresistible aroma of cinnamon, the juicy sweetness of apples and the softness of the dough in every bite. This recipe is not only a treat for the palate, but also a unique experience that I prepared as a gift for my birthday. Today I decided to replicate it because it turned out delicious and sold out very quickly, I hope you enjoy creating and savoring this wonderful tart as much as I did!
Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:
For the dough:
-1 red appleπ
-250 grams of wheat flour
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1 pinch of salt
-2 eggs
-6 tablespoons of sugar
-25 grams of oil
-6 tablespoons milk
To decorate:
-1 appleπ half-moon slices
-4 tablespoons sugar
-2 teaspoons cinnamon
-1 tablespoon cornstarch
-5 tablespoons of water
-1 tablespoon butter
We spray:
*Icing sugar
ππ«ππ©ππ«πππ’π¨π§: πππ‘π₯ ππͺ π€π₯ππ‘:
- Preheat the oven to 180Β° Celsius. Let's start. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the oil and mix with your hands until you get a sandy texture.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and add the sugar. When the mixture becomes clear, pour it over the previous dough, stir until it becomes homogeneous. Next, add the milk little by little and the apple pieces previously chopped in small squares.
- Add the mixture in a greased buttered pan and bake in the oven. Previously turned on, for 12 minutes or until you notice that you test it with a toothpick and it comes out clean.
- In the meantime, we will prepare the garnish. Cut the apples into half moons and transfer them to a pan. Add water, sugar, cinnamon, butter and, finally, the cornstarch. Mix and stir until all the ingredients are well combined and we obtain a thick texture and a dark golden color.
- After the time has elapsed, remove our pre-baked cake from the oven. Then, we place the decoration, the apples on the cake, distribute evenly.
- Return to the oven until the apples are tender. Remove and let the cake cool completely, sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
