Distribution of rewards
In the first issue, I listed the 5 authors directly as the beneficiaries of the publication's rewards. In this recent February issue, I'm doing this because @peakd only allows a maximum of 8 beneficiaries per publication. (A flaw that calls into question the suitability of this magazine's purposes, because there are 10 authors).

A few considerations that I think are useful
I've spoken to a few people who have been here a lot longer than me and opinions are divided. Some think that I should inform and ask permission from the authors of the publications to include them in the magazine.
No, I don't! For 5 reasons:
1-Surprise effect. Anyone who truly loves photography and is confident in what they do will be pleased to have their work recognized by another colleague.
I like to make a day happy by surprising people whose qualities and talent I recognize. It's a way of being in life.
2- Pragmatism. I'm very pragmatic in my work. I'm not going to be exchanging messages with 10 people, I have very little time available and I assume that people do too. (I've tried it, it doesn't work. It just gets in the way).
I'm only doing this to ask permission to use images for the front and back covers, as I did with Peter @haastrecht
3- Use the hashtag. It seems logical to me that the hashtag I suggested (#hivephotomag) implies acceptance. Half the authors used it.
4- I'm not taking anything away from anyone. On the contrary, I'm praising and recognizing someone's work. Nor am I taking advantage of other people's work to profit from the rewards. I'm sharing with others.
5- A solution to any dissatisfaction. Anyone who doesn't feel comfortable with their work in the magazine, please leave a comment. I quickly go to In Design and remove the work/author. No drama!

Algumas considerações que considero úteis
Falei com algumas pessoas que estão aqui há muito mais tempo que eu e as opiniões dividem-se, alguns acham que eu devia informar e pedir autorização aos autores das publicações para os incluir na revista.
Não, não o faço! Por 5 motivos:
1- Efeito surpresa. Quem gosta verdadeiramente de fotografia, e esteja seguro com o que faz, ficará satisfeito com o reconhecimento do seu trabalho por outro colega.
Gosto de tornar um dia feliz, através da surpresa, a quem eu reconheço qualidades e talento. É uma maneira de ser e de estar na vida. ﾠ
2- Pragmatismo. Sou muito pragmático nos meus afazeres. Não vou estar a trocar mensagens com 10 pessoas, tenho pouco tempo disponível e presumo que as pessoas também. Acho desnecessário. (Já tentei, não resulta. Só atrapalha).
Só o faço para pedir autorização na cedência de imagens para a capa e contra capa, como fiz com o Peter @haastrecht
3- Uso da hashtag. Parece-me lógico que na hashtag que sugeri (#hivephotomag) está implícita a aceitação. Metade dos autores usaram-na.ﾠ
4- Não estou a tirar nada de ninguém. Antes pelo contrário, estou a enaltecer e a reconhecer o trabalho de alguém. Também não me estou aproveitar do trabalho dos outros para lucrar nas recompensas. Estou a dividir com os demais.
5- Solução para eventuais insatisfeitos. Quem não se sentir confortável com o seu trabalho na revista, peço um favor: deixem no comentário essa observação.
Depressa entro no In Design e retiro o trabalho/autor. Sem drama!
