First of all, Happy New Year to you all🥳🥳 It’s another excited time when we celebrate a brand new year and I really do pray that this year be an amazing one for all of us🙏.
Today marks a lot of beautiful things—a new year, first day of the year, first day of the month and definitely the first HIVE POWER UP DAY of the year💃💃 Honestly, power up days have come to be a very interesting thing for me and I always look forward to it. To mark the start of this beautiful year, I decided to power up 24 Hive! That’s like more than double the number of Hive that I have ever powered up in the past. I feel so excited about this because I have already started the year on a really good note.
In my previous post, I shared that I hit my HP goal for 2023 and that I have another goal to achieve in 2024. I believe that the most beautiful thing about setting goals apart from the fact that it shows you a map road, it actually allow you to set bigger goals because you will get to realize how much you can achieve if you just put in more effort.
The fact that I was able to reach my 500HP goal made me believe in myself that I can even do better if I put in more effort. This power up day has even made me become a bit closer to my bigger goal of 2000HP in the first half of the year. I look forward to the coming power up days and also an increase in the amount of Hive I get to power up.
To participate in the first Hive power up day of the year 2024, I had @starstrings01 to tutor me perfectly on how to instantly turn my earned HBD to Hive (Normally, it takes about three days). I will drop the pictures and the instructions given below them, it might help you as well;
This was how my account looked like before powering upTo convert HBD to Hive. You need to either have Hive Keychain on your phone or HiveAuth. This would help you for all those authentication that would be needed. You login on Hivehub, go to your wallet, click on that drop down menu, and after that, you click on market.
When you click on market, you would get to this interface. Make sure you are logged in. At the moment, the system is set to changing Hive to HBD. You would click on that swap symbol at the middle to turn it to HBD to Hive.
Here, It will turn the HBD to Hive... Insert the amount of HBD to turn to Hive. For instance, here, 8.5 HBD would give be equivalent to 23 Hive.
After going through the previous step, you can check your wallet and you will see that you Hive and HBD balance would have been updated. In my case, my account looked like this after the swap.
To power up, click on the drop down icon and then click on power up.
Select the number of hive you want to power up and proceed.
And boom! You have successfully powered up😌
So, that is the simple process of converting your HBD to Hive instantly, I hope you learned one or two things. I will be doing my subsequent conversations myself since I have perfectly understood the steps to follow.
