Thank you for sharing this story. I cannot imagine how difficult it would have been for you and your roommate and it speaks to your integrity and character that you found some work to get you the means. I respect your efforts then, as well your openness to share it with us now. Your writing is also strong enough to carry the recollection well. Well done.
