I wish one could just switch off the overthinking button easily but I have realized it takes a conscious effort to reduce and eventually stop it. It's definitely not easy but it can be done.

Me too! I sometimes wish I could just snap a finger and reset everything. It really takes a level of intentionality to work on this, you just have to take charge of your own mind.
