Empty Streets
On Sundays, after attending mass in the morning, I usually, when the weather conditions are suitable and allow me to do so, walk the usually lonely streets and avenues of the city.
The vehicular traffic, the agglomeration of people and the rush during the weekdays, usually hide places or details that we usually overlook, but in the quiet of the weekends or holidays, they emerge to the surface and become visible to our eyes, and which I take the opportunity to immortalize in an image captured with my cell phone.
On that not so distant occasion, I was able to photograph a cyclist defying the intense midday heat, while a few meters away, a motorcyclist with a passenger on his back was hurrying to cross a city intersection.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Los Domingos, luego de asistir a misa en la mañana, acostumbro, cuando las condiciones climáticas son adecuadas y me lo permiten, recorrer las calles y avenidas usualmente solitarias de la ciudad.
El tráfico vehicular, el aglomeramiento de personas y la prisa durante los días laborables, generalmente nos esconden lugares o detalles que solemos pasar por alto, pero que en la quietud de los fines de semana o días festivos, emergen a la superficie y se hacen visibles a nuestros ojos, y los cuales aprovecho para inmortalizar en una imagen capturada con mi teléfono móvil.
En esa ocasión no tan lejana, pude fotografiar a un ciclista desafiando el intenso calor del mediodía, mientras a unos metros de distancia, un motociclista con una pasajera a sus espaldas se apresuraba a cruzar una intersección de la ciudad.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
