Sunday Walk
A few years ago, I attended an early Sunday morning meeting of amateur photographers in the center of the city.
The objective of that meeting was to take a walk on foot, photographing the places and buildings that we found in our journey, starting from the surroundings of the Plaza Bolivar and the headquarters of the local mayor's office.
Among the places we visited and photographed that day, was the St. John Baptist de La Salle Park, better known as the Acoustic Shell, a small urban park located in the center of the city, which has a wooded area full of vegetation, water mirrors formed by existing springs, in addition to an outdoor acoustic shell for live performances such as plays or concerts.
As I have described in previous posts, I process the original photographs using the editing tools offered in their free versions by the applications Picsart and Snapseed.
Unos años atrás, asistí un Domingo temprano en la mañana a un encuentro de aficionados a la fotografía en el centro de la ciudad.
El objetivo de aquel encuentro era realizar una caminata a pié, fotografiando los lugares y edificios que encontráramos en nuestro recorrido, partiendo por los alrededores de la Plaza Bolívar y la sede de la alcaldía local.
Entre los lugares que visitamos y fotografiamos aquel día, se encontraba el Parque San Juan Bautista de La Salle, mejor conocido como la Concha Acústica, un pequeño parque urbano ubicado en pleno centro de la ciudad, que cuenta con una zona boscosa llena de vegetación, espejos de agua formados por manantiales allí existentes, además, de una concha acústica al aire libre para la realización de presentaciones en vivo como obras de teatro o conciertos.
Como he descrito en posts anteriores, las fotografías originales las proceso haciendo uso de las herramientas de edición que ofrecen en sus versiones gratuitas las aplicaciones Picsart y Snapseed.
