A surprise awaited me on the road. I had never seen her before.But that's what happens when we are in direct contact with the natural world; in that eagerness to learn from the world: amazement overwhelms us and how.
In the middle of my "vegetable" adventure, I came across this beautiful and rare floral explosion. Of course, I had to get closer to appreciate more directly every detail and photograph it to leave a memory of this particular encounter.
It is well known that flowers not only contribute to the aesthetic sense they possess, but they are also important reproductive agents of plants. Their particularity lies in the fact that the female (pistil) and male (stamens that surround the pistil) parts coexist in the same floral organism, which facilitate the conversion of the ovules into seeds and the production of the fruit from the ovary of the plant.
A close look at this flower reveals both structures.
I confess that, amazed by this discovery, I did not succeed in portraying other goodness of the landscape. This magnificent expression absolutely captivated me? And I do not know her name.
Until another encounter with the magical universe of details.

En el camino me aguardaba la sorpresa. Nunca antes le había visto. Pero es lo que sucede cuando estamos en contacto directo con el mundo natural; en esa avidez por aprender del mundo: el asombro nos embarga y de qué manera.
En plena aventura "vegetal" me encontré con esta bella y rara explosión floral. Por supuesto, tuve que acercarme para apreciar más directamente cada detalle y fotografiarle y así dejar memoria de este particular encuentro.
Sabido es que la flores no solo significan como aportadoras de ese sentido estético que poseen sino que, además, son importantes agentes reproductivos de las plantas. Su particularidad radica en que conviven en un mismo organismo floral las partes femenina (pistilo) y masculina (estambres que rodean el pistilo) que facilitan la conversión de los óvulos en semilla y la producción del fruto desde el ovario de la planta.
Observando con detenimiento esta flor se aprecian ambas estructuras.
Confieso que maravillada por este descubrimiento no atiné a retratar otras bondades del paisaje. Esta magnífica expresión me cautivó absolutamente...
Y no conozco su nombre.
