My name is Elvira, and I'm a huge lover of photography and art in general. Today, for PhotoFeed's 117th contest, I'm bringing you Nefertiti, my kitty, in black and white.
Photographing small cats is almost as difficult as photographing babies or children under 2. They never stop or stay in one position for more than 10 seconds. So, to take a good photograph, it takes time and lots and lots of photos.
Well, that's what I had to do to be able to take these photos I'm presenting to you today. I literally took more than 60 photos throughout the day, but these alone are worth showing.
Especially that first photo of the post.
And it's not just important to have a good camera; you also need to be prepared and have a good model.
Without Nefertiti's tender gaze, perhaps the image wouldn't have the same effect on us viewers.
However, there's even a sweetness in her gaze, which I tried to capture with these snapshots. I believe I've achieved my goal of conveying that same emotion of calm and love that Nefertiti's eyes convey to me.

Hola, amigos de #Hive.
Mi nombre es Elvira y soy gran amante de las fotografías y el arte en general. El día de hoy, para el concurso 117 de PhotoFeed, les traigo a Nefertiti, mi gatica, en blanco y negro.
Fotografiar a gatos pequeños es casi igual de difícil que fotografiar a bebés o niños menores de 2 años. Nunca se detienen ni mantienen una misma posición por más de 10 segundos. De modo que, para tomar una buena fotografía, lleva tiempo y muchas, pero muchas fotos.
Pues eso tuve que hacer para poder lograr tomar estas fotos que les presento hoy. Literalmente fueron más de 60 fotos que tomé a lo largo del día pero solamente estas valen la pena mostrar.
Sobre todo esa primera foto del post.
Y no solo es importante tener una buena cámara también es necesario estar preparado y tener una buena modelo.
Sin Nefertiti no tuviera esa mirada muy tierna, quizás la imagen no tuviera el mismo efecto sobre nosotros los espectadores.
Sin embargo estará hasta derrocha dulzura en su mirada, la que he intentado atrapar con estas instantáneas. Creo haber logrado mi objetivo de llegar a transmitir esa misma emoción de calma y de amor que los ojos de Nefertiti me transmiten.
