Some time back I had mentioned about the different ceramic art work plates that I had bought from the local market in Muscat and that I had plans to put it up in my home. I finished putting it up and along with it I bought quite a few other plates also for home decor. This is for my home, which I give on Airbnb for short stays. Till now the whole focus was on doing what was necessary and important and now that most of that has been done, I am focusing on some decor of my place. This time during my India visit, this is the important project that I had to work on.
This whole week I dedicated myself to finishing the job that I had planned. Along with those ceramic plates I bought quite a few other frames, but they are not ceramic, they are metal ones. I wanted to keep them near the steps and since the house goes on rent I did not want to put delicate things. I wanted to have something which looks classy and is sturdy. I found these plates on Amazon, the designs were good. I wanted a mix of designs, Indian and others giving a blend of colors and style.
These blue frames are what I ordered from Amazon, these are called as the Holland designs on amazon. I found the blue and white combination attractive.
I want to decorate this whole stairway space, the initial idea was to have the bue and white ones also here but then some how they did not fit very well and I chose another wall for it, so now while these 2 sets are placed there is lot of empty space between which I will have to fill up. I plan to do it in another few months. As of this time this much is enough.
These designs are called the Madhuban designs, very Indian traditional designs. While ordering I was not sure how it will be, they looked pretty in the pictures but sometimes in real when you order it is very different. These ones met the expectations.
One more for the wall decor. I needed something to be put near my dining table, I was thinking of a big mirror and then I came across this sun design which I liked it instantly and ordered. Very happy with what I received, it is exactly what is shown in the picture.
It's really adding lot of show to my dining space. It looks classy and the best part is it's very cheap. 100% value for money.

Lot of frames I put up this time, no more frames now, I'll think of something different. As it is now most of the walls are filled up and I do not want to put too many things and make it ugly. I am very happy and satisfied with this Amazon shopping.
