Abaca Baking Company - Banawa Branch Newly Opened ☕️

The long wait is finally over! At last, Abaca Baking Company has opened recently at Paseo Arcenas, Banawa which is a walk away from home. It's my sister Joyce's favorite go-to cafe whenever she feels like she needs extra caffeine for the day. Last Sunday, before we went strolling at Fuente during Sinulog, she called me and invited me over for a quick coffee break at the recently opened Abaca Baking Company. It was great timing since I was craving for their Spanish Latte and my daughter was also craving for their pastry.

The new branch was much better than the old branch here in Paseo Arcenas. It is much more spacious now and it is two-story which can accommodate more customers. What I love about their new branch location is that it is accessible but it is not as crowded as those located inside the mall.

Since my sister was ready to dig in already, we just ordered something available right away which was some pastries and bread. I was supposed to order a croissant but their lemon cinnamon cake looks delectable. My daughter had a whoopie pie with smores filling while my sister opted for her favorite egg tarts. I had an iced Spanish latte while my sister had her all-time favorite hot latte. Cravings were satisfied at last! We went home right after and changed our clothes before we went to Fuente to celebrate Sinulog.
