Hey, coffee friends!
My spirits are low due to the electoral situation in my country right now, but I've come to share my coffee/tea & perhaps favorite breakfast with you anyway, as this Coffee Conversation puts me in a good mood--just what I need right now.

Oatmeal (porridge made with oats) is one of my favorite breakfasts, which I eat without coffee or tea. I do brew coffee while I prepare the porridge and while it cools down a bit, I enjoy my hot black coffee.

I could eat the porridge alone, but yesterday I served it with buttered toasts.

Empanadas and scrambled eggs with veggies (arepas and local fresh cheese spread) are on my list, too. I had a cheese empanada last Saturday at my job; they served it with a cold turmeric and ginger infusion. Today, I prepared the scrambled eggs. I could have these with coffee or tea, hot or cold, but the truth is that if it's up to me, it's going to be coffee all the time: black before & after eating, plant based latte with my food.
