I can't believe that so much time has passed since my birthday and I haven't shared with you what a great experience I had at Strada Coffee Shop, a wonderful coffee shop (which also works as a restaurant). My sister works there as a pastry chef, so it was a nice gesture on her part that she changed her day off for my birthday to take you there to celebrate my birthday. I loved the aesthetics of this place because it has a vintage and cottage style, with subtle colors where green and pink predominate, plus lots of flowers, which gave me the feeling of having a picnic in the countryside, even though we were in the middle of the city.
Inside, the air is very peaceful, while the staff is wonderfully attentive. The waiters are really friendly and make sure to take your order as quickly as possible (and my sister assured me that they are always like that, not because she works there and that day she was a customer). Plus, we had a subtle Vossanova as background music. What more could I ask for? It was my perfect birthday.
When we were given the menu, I had mixed feelings because I loved all the options they offered. However, it was the menu itself that I didn't like. It's just a bunch of paper on a clipboard. I feel like, although they tried to give it a rural touch that would be in keeping with the cottage style, it didn't quite fit; it looks crude and out of place. I don't know what you think, but it was the only thing I didn't like because the rest of the decor was beautiful.
What I ordered for a snack was a delicious Moccaccino, something I had never tried in my life, since I normally always order a classic vanilla latte (which was what my little sister ordered this time). The Moccaccino combines three delicious ingredients in the same drink: coffee, milk, and chocolate, and it is separated into layers, which is why the waiter offers you a small spoon so you can stir the ingredients in the glass yourself. They didn't add sugar because they leave that up to you; they bring you a little jar so you can add the desired amount 😋.
The flavor and texture left me absolutely amazed, once you stir all the ingredients with the spoon the drink has an intense chocolate flavor but it does not overshadow the flavor of the coffee, this continues to predominate since it has a double espresso base, you have no idea how much I enjoyed that moment, the foam was also very dense, which gave it an interesting texture.
And to elevate the experience to the maximum level, my sister ordered me a mini chocolate cake soaked in coffee that was delicious and was also made by herself 😊 (since as I told you she is the pastry chef of that place) and it also came with a beautiful decoration, it was a very nice gesture that I will never forget, she also sang happy birthday for me, and that delicious dessert was the ideal accompaniment to my drink 🤗 😋 It was a delicious and unforgettable snack without a doubt.
After a while we returned home because I later found out that my little sister was holding me back because they were also preparing a surprise party for me at home, which was also wonderful. This birthday was the best I've had in a long time and for that I am very grateful.
I hope you enjoyed this experience as much as I did. I think from that moment on, the Mochaccino became one of my favorite coffees because it has interesting combinations that elevate the experience and activate your serotonin, filling you with enthusiasm and energy. No puedo creer que haya pasado tanto tiempo desde mi cumpleaños y yo no halla compartido con ustedes lo que fue para mi la grata experiencia que pasé en Strada Coffee Shop, una maravillosa cafetería (que también funciona como restaurante) Mi hermana trabaja allí como chef pastelera, así que fue un lindísimo gesto de su parte que ella haya cambiado su día libre por el día de mi cumpleaños para llevarte hasta allí a celebrar mi cumpleaños. Amé la estética de ese lugar porque tiene un estilo entre vintage y cottage, con colores sutiles donde predomina el verde y el rosa, además de muchísimas flores, lo que me dio la sensación de estar merendando en el campo, aunque estuviésemos en plena ciudad.
En el interior se respira un aire muy apacible mientras, la atención del personal es maravillosa, los meseros son realmente amables y se aseguran de tomar tu orden en el menor tiempo posible (y mi hermana me aseguró que siempre son así, no es por el hecho de que ella trabaja allí y ese día fue como cliente) además teníamos una sutil vossanova como fondo musical ¿Qué más podía pedir a la vida? era mi cumpleaños perfecto
Cuando nos dieron el menú tuve sentimientos encontrados porque amé todas las opciones que ofrecen, sin embargo es el propio menú el que no me gustó, es decir, solo se trata de un montón de hojas en un sujetapapeles, siento que aunque quisieron darle un toque rural que fuese acorde con el estilo cottage no encajó del todo, se ve burdo y fuera de lugar. No sé que opinan ustedes, de todos modos fue lo único que no me gustó porque el resto de la decoración estaba preciosa.
Lo que pedí para merendar fue un delicioso Moccaccino, algo que yo nunca había probado en mi vida, ya que normalmente siempre pido un clásico latte vainilla (que fue lo que pidió mi hermanita en esta ocasión), el Moccaccino combina tres deliciosos ingredientes en la misma bebida: café, leche y chocolate y está separados en capas, por eso el mesero te ofrece una pequeña cuchara para que tú mismo revuelvas los ingredientes en el vaso. No añadieron azúcar pues eso lo dejan a tu elección, te traen un botecito para que tu añadas la cantidad deseada 😋.
El sabor y la textura me dejaron absolutamente maravillada, una vez que revuelves todos los ingredientes con la cucharilla la bebida tiene un intenso sabor a chocolate pero no eclipsa el sabor del café, este sigue predominando ya que tiene una base de expreso doble, ustedes no tienen idea de cuanto disfruté ese momento, la espuma además era muy densa, lo que le ofrecía una textura interesante.
Y para elevar la experiencia al máximo nivel mi hermana pidió para mi una minicake de chocolate embebida en café que estaba deliciosa y además fue hecha por ella misma 😊 (ya que como les dije ella es la chef pastelera de ese lugar) además venía con una decoración preciosa, fue un lindísimo gesto que jamás olvidaré, además ella cantó el cumpleaños feliz para mi, y ese delicioso postre fue el acompañamiento ideal para mi bebida 🤗 😋 fue una merienda deliciosa e inolvidable sin lugar a dudas.
Al rato regresamos a casa porque luego me enteré que mi hermanita me estaba reteniendo además porque en casa me estaban preparando una fiesta sorpresa, la cual estuvo maravillosa también, este cumpleaños fue el mejor que he tenido en mucho tiempo y por eso estoy muy agradecida.
Espero que ustedes hayan disfrutado de esta experiencia tanto como yo, creo que a partir de ese momento el Moccaccino se convirtió en uno de mis cafés favoritos porque tiene combinaciones interesantes que elevan la experiencia y activa tu serotonina, llenándote de mucho entusiasmo y energía.
