Hello, coffee lovers around the world!
Yesterday was International Coffee Day. I just found out about it after ten years of its creation! And I've been drinking coffee my whole life.
This is something that needs to be remedied, and we should make it more widely known so we can celebrate it worldwide and fill the coffee shops.
For example, I invited my friends to celebrate International Coffee Day, and we went to the café at the Cadillac Hotel in my city. It's located on the ground floor of the hotel, on a covered terrace overlooking the boulevard.
So, it's cool and shady, and we can enjoy the view of the morning city life.
When I invited them to celebrate, none of them knew about the date, and when we found out, we went with even greater joy. For us, going for coffee and chatting is always a source of joy, but if we were celebrating coffee, this beverage that brings us so many good times, then even greater joy.
On the way, we met another friend who joined the celebration. In the end, four of us arrived at the café.
With that same spirit, we ordered coffees, and, to the bartender's puzzled look, we explained that we were celebrating International Coffee Day. Imagine how this day surprised and delighted everyone, that he gave us coffees.
She told us she couldn't sit down for coffee with us because she was working, but to join in the celebration, coffee was on the house.
Today we didn't try any new coffee recipes; we preferred to stick with our usual favorites, which are the cortadito and the cappuccino.
What we did have was a new coffee bar. This was our first time at the Hotel Cadillac coffee bar. It's a day of celebration in a completely new place.
And so, coffee continues to bring us joy after joy. A few hours late, I wish you all a happy birthday, and let's make every day International Coffee Day.

Hola, amigos del café alrededor del mundo!
Ayer fue el día internacional del café. ¡Me entero después de diez años de creado! Y yo que he tomado café toda mi vida.
Esto es algo que debe remediarse y deberíamos hacerlo más conocido para así festejarlo a nivel mundial y repletar las cafeterías.
Por ejemplo, invité a mis amigas a celebrar el día internacional del café y nos fuimos a la cafetería del Hotel Cadillac, en mi ciudad. Esta tiene lugar en los bajos de dicho hotel, en una terraza techada y con vista al boulevard.
Por lo que, es al mismo tiempo fresca, con sombra y podemos disfrutar de la vista de la vida matutina de la ciudad.
Cuando las invité a celebrar, ninguna conocía de la fecha y al saberlo, fuimos con mayor alegría. Para nosotras ir a tomar café y conversar, siempre es motivo de alegría, pero si estábamos celebrando al café, a esta bebida que tantos buenos momentos nos regala, mayor alegría entonces.
De camino nos encontramos con otra amiga que se sumó a la celebración. Al final, llegamos cuatro a la cafetería.
Con ese mismo ánimo pedimos los cafés y ante la mirada extrañada del bartender, le explicamos que celebrábamos el día internacional del café. Fíjense si este día ha sorprendido y alegrado a todos, que nos regaló los cafés.
Nos dijo que no podía sentarse a tomar un café con nosotras, puesto que estaba trabajando, pero para unirse a la celebración, el café iba por la casa.
En el día de hoy no probamos ninguna receta nueva de café, preferimos quedarnos con lo acostumbrado, lo que nos encanta, que son el cortadito y el capuchino.
Lo que sí estrenamos es la cafetería. Esta fue la primera vez que venimos a la cafetería del Hotel Cadillac. Es un día de celebración en un lugar completamente nuevo.
Y de este modo, el café nos sigue regalando alegrías tras alegrías. Con algunas horas de atraso, los felicito a todos y hagamos de cada día, el Día internacional del café.
