RE: VISIT TO MY PARENT'S HOUSE || I ASSISTED MY MOM TO FEED HER BROILER CHICKENS

@debbie-ese A very good feeling as a means of part-time labourer for your parents and likewise I know that you are really learning gradually from your mom and this will also enlighten you more about keeping poultry yourself other animals with your husband. Being a helping hand also reminds me of somewhere in Obafem Awolowo University Teaching and Research Farm where I did part of my industrial training as of that time, where I did 3 months of my training with the Poultry section, the rabbit section, Grasscutter section and also the sheep and goat section.

A piece of advice is that even when you are doing this as a laborer as a learner and also as a gradual farmer you need to also progress by practicing it yourself so that you will be part of the farmer no matter what.

Hello @mattsanthonyit,indeed I can say i have one or two experiences about running a poultry business with the few times I have visited my mother through the little chit-chat that we have.

Thanks for stopping by.

Perhaps, getting into agriculture may seems more interesting when you step into it slowly. We have more ladies and women get into agriculture practices nowadays too

With time I intend to start a mini poultry as well. Maybe not for commercial purpose for a start but for only the purpose of consumption. Then later on I can increase the numbers for sale.
