Last month i made a post here about our bag garden,That was when intially planted it,so after some weeks of planting the yam i personally bought dried bamboo sticks buried into the ground close to the springing yams.
Currently this week i decided some manure to it (before I started planting i have already mixed the soil with manure) but this time i poured the manure around the stem of the plants.
From the picture you can tell the plants are doing well except from pests which are eating up the maize plant but i have already got a treatment for that. The yams are growing tall and strong. Gradually coiling up the bamboo trees.Today i cleared all the weeds in the bag garden.Over time we use the cucurbita maxima ("ugbogoro" in native language) to cook soups.
Bag farming or gardening is essential for daily use in the sense of it's small scale it's specially made for individual/family use which helps in even in a State of emergency.
Thank for reading through.please don't forget to share your thoughts with me. They're much welcomed.
