The green-filled Bowmont park is in the north-west quadrant of Calgary. It starts as some large hills along the river valley and leads back down towards the bow. Its the type of park that almost blends in, and you might not even see it if you live in the area and travel everywhere by car. There are paths that wind down the hill to the valley below, or you can walk along the hillside and eventually end up on the outskirts of the city.
