Hello friends! We had a massive hailstorm late the other night, it was so loud my neighbor even texted me, asking if I heard the apocalypse outside, lol.
At the time it was happening, I was in bed with Yuan on top of me, so I didn't get up to go look at it, hee hee. The next morning I went and surveyed the damage.
The dill seems to have been the hardest hit, but I think it will recover.
The chocolate drops are still standing strong, and I think they're about to flower! 😃
This looks rather like a grass head to me, which makes sense if they're native wildflowers of Colorado.
This is where I planted apple and maple seeds, and dumped the overflow from the cilantro pot the last time we had a big storm, and I can now tell the are a couple of cilantro seedlings here (as well as in their original pot which I replanted after that storm), but mostly I think apples (the maples I planted later so I don't think they'd have sprouted yet).
Cilantro in the cilantro pot.
So it seems we survived and the balcony offered some coverage even though most of the pots are on the ledge. Hooray!

Thank you for reading and have a great day! 🙂
