Muchas veces escuchamos a allegados o personas que conocemos a lo largo del tiempo poner el éxito en diversos pedestales con visiones distintas. Para algunos es tener estabilidad económica, para otros es el empleo soñado y hay quienes con tener el corazón tranquilo y saber que recorrieron de buena manera ya se consideran en la cima. Pero así como comenté hace unos días sobre el apego, el cual desemboca en obsesión, en este caso hay quienes pasan por etapas en las que se encasillan en solo exigirse el tener éxito en cada cosa; esto genera una variedad de consecuencias.
We all have goals in life and many of us set out steps and strategies to achieve what we want and reach that long-awaited success, but really, what is that feeling we expect to have of what we call success? What is it that we expect to receive?
We often hear people close to us or people we know over time put success on different pedestals with different visions. For some it is having economic stability, for others it is the dream job and there are those who, with a calm heart and knowing that they have done well, already consider themselves at the top. But just as I commented a few days ago about attachment, which leads to obsession, in this case there are those who go through stages in which they pigeonhole themselves into only demanding success in each thing; this generates a variety of consequences.
A ver, ciertamente un éxito significa un logro y una recompensa, pero debemos saber aceptar cuando no lo tengamos, ya que justamente de los errores tendremos la clave para alcanzar la meta que buscamos. Como quien dice, cada derrota nos dará una nueva oportunidad; sea cual sea el entorno, es importante no caer en esa constante búsqueda apresurada de lo que tenemos que saber esperar en su justo momento. Por eso es que hay quienes desde la niñez les ponen estas exigencias de éxito constante, llevándolos a presionarse en etapas donde el descubrimiento y aprendizaje son claves, llegando a presentar años más tarde ansiedad o colapsos emocionales fuertes al no tener o no entregar los resultados exigidos.
Por lo que de nuevo tomaré el tema de que saber tener mente clara sobre el éxito es algo que en parte se forma de la crianza, ya que serán las primeras voces que darán forma a nuestra percepción y luego se terminará de formar en lo que serán las experiencias vividas, tanto aciertos como derrotas, que complementarán ese real modo de ver el verdadero éxito que va con nosotros y que tal vez ya tengamos y no nos demos cuenta. Y esto porque tendremos diversas expresiones de éxito a buscar, ya sean personales, emocionales o con algún significado específico.
Well, certainly success means an achievement and a reward, but we must know how to accept when we don't have it, since it is precisely from the mistakes that we will have the key to reach the goal we seek. As they say, each defeat will give us a new opportunity; whatever the environment, it is important not to fall into that constant hurried search for what we have to know how to expect at the right time. That is why there are those who from childhood are placed these demands of constant success, leading them to pressure themselves in stages where discovery and learning are key, leading to presenting years later anxiety or strong emotional breakdowns when not having or not delivering the required results.
Therefore, I will again take the subject of knowing how to have a clear mind about success is something that is partly formed by upbringing, since they will be the first voices that will shape our perception and then it will finish forming in what will be the lived experiences, both successes and defeats, that will complement that real way of seeing the true success that goes with us and that perhaps we already have and do not realize. And this is because we will have various expressions of success to look for, whether personal, emotional or with some specific meaning.
El éxito es lo que nos transmita felicidad y la sensación de realización, que nos haga sentir ubicados en lo que somos realmente, ya sea solos o acompañados, y que no se base en solo éxitos materiales o sociales, sino que vaya más allá y sea algo que nos marque, ya sea una tranquilidad, el tener amor propio, el estar en el entorno adecuado, conseguir las metas trazadas, apreciando el esfuerzo y la constancia o poder estar al 100% completos y no atosigarnos de aquello que, en vez de un logro, traiga elementos negativos a corto o largo plazo.
@talentos nos trae este tema a profundizar y buscar esa visión de éxito que tenemos cada uno de nosotros y cómo la expresamos. Por esa razón quise hacer hincapié en que tenemos que no ver el éxito como algo que sí o sí debemos tener de manera ciega y obsesiva, sino que este sea la recompensa que nos dé la paz y claridad mental de una alegría nata.
Success is what gives us happiness and a sense of accomplishment, what makes us feel at home in what we really are, whether alone or accompanied, and what is not based on only material or social success, but goes beyond that and is something that marks us, whether it is peace of mind, having self-love, being in the right environment, achieving the goals set, appreciating the effort and perseverance or being able to be 100% complete and not bothering ourselves with that which, instead of an achievement, brings negative elements in the short or long term.

For that reason I wanted to emphasize that we have to not see success as something that we must have blindly and obsessively, but that it is the reward that gives us the peace and mental clarity of a natural joy.
