Forgotten cards!

Whatever the battle may be, often the biggest, most armed and powerful remain in everyone's sight, while sometimes some seemingly ordinary cards also play an important role in winning the battle. You too must have experienced many such battles where an ordinary card of yours or the enemy team may have changed the course of the game or left such an impression that you were surprised. I have been saying from the beginning that no card in Splinterlands is useless. If something seems useless for some reason, it is because you have not been able to unlock its abilities yet. I've only fought battles with basic cards until a few months ago and then tested several cards by renting them and then purchasing them. And there are some cards among them that mostly go unnoticed, but their presence on the Battlefield with Certain Conditions can change the course of the battle. Today's Community Engagement Challenge is all about bringing those underrated gems into the limelight.

Underrated card in my opinion:

Djinn Oshannus is a magic card which costs 8 mana. I have level 1 of this card and even in that, all 4 stats of this card are great. Like magic attack ability which is superior in itself because magic targets health directly every time which makes it easy to weaken the enemy from inside despite having armor. Apart from this, it has 10 health which is great again because it helps in standing firm even after multiple attacks. Also the most important speed is also outstanding in this card from level 1 itself. You see if you get good speed along with good attacking capability, then this is a great combination in itself because as soon as the battle starts, you will get the chance to perform the first attack in every round and in that too, if you have a magic card, then you can directly target the enemy's health. Apart from all this, this card also has the Void ability, due to which this card receives 50% less damage from magic attacks and if the attack is of 1 power then it will be 100% damage less. Imagine, despite having such amazing stats, I have never seen this card on the battlefield in any of my opponent's teams and you can buy this card for just 0.85 dollars which is why I think it is so underrated.

How do I use it effectively on the battlefield:

In my experience, the best performance is always of the magic attack cards, so I almost always add a magic card to my team. This card is specially placed in the third to sixth position most of the time because I consider it right to place the highest attacking power cards in the first and second positions. This strengthens my frontline and also protects my magic card from close physical attacks. In this way, your highest speed card stays somewhere in the middle of the battlefield and keeps damaging the enemy's health directly in every attack and also protects itself from the enemy's magic attacks due to its ability. Apart from this, if there is a healer in your team, then the chances of the card staying on the battlefield for a long time also increase. Imagine if you are making a team with Wands Out Ruleset, then by placing this card in the front, you can completely avoid the maximum attacks of the enemy or make them 50% less effective. So overall you can place this card in different positions in different situations. This card is a part of my team in every battle with the water element and its performance always surprises me.

When I surprised an opponent with an unexpected strategy

I searched a lot but I could not find the link of that battle so you have to visualize it as per my instructions. So once during team selection for a battle with 12 mana caps and wands out ruleset I chose summoner Obsidian of earth element for which 4 mana out of my total 12 mana was used. Now from the remaining 8 mana, I could either choose 2 or 3 basic and low health cards or I could choose Djinn Oshannus. But by doing this I would have a single card in front of the enemy which would have to bear all the attacks alone. But still, I chose this card and my opponent chose 2 different cards with low health and Mordorite attack power. Summoner was the same for both of us which gave +1 magic power to all the cards. Now initially it was a surprise for the opponent that I had decided to battle with just one card, due to which it may have seemed easy for him to win that battle. But the magic of Djinn Oshannus's stats is that he will attack you first in every round with 2+1 magic power and his Void ability will protect him from the enemy's magic attacks from a minimum of 50% to a maximum of 100%. However in that battle, since both of us had chosen Obsidian as our summoner, so we had a minimum of 2 magic attack powers. Still, Djinn Oshannus's Void ability reduced the damage of the enemy's attacks by 50%, after which this single card surprised me by knocking out the entire enemy lineup, and I think it must have been a shock for the enemy. ✌️

That's all for today!

Splinterlands seems like a good game, and the card you discovered sounds great.
Is it only on PC or it can be played with a mobile phone?
