The weekend is upon us once again, I always love weekends this time of year. The back porch is a great temperature to sit outside and enjoy some morning coffee. Here in southern California it's starting to get a little warm in the day time with a high of 90 F (32 C), but next week it's going to cool down a bit thank goodness.
As always, my Saturday posts are more financial in nature, so first off lets start off with some Bitcoin and Hive prices.
Bitcoin once again as pierced through that psychological barrier of $100,000 and is managing to stay above that marker. Time will tell what comes next, I'm hoping for an even higher push, but would be perfectly happy if BTC just stays above $100K!
Now looking at the Hive chart for the last week, you would think that it's really not doing all that well.
But one must keep in mind there was a massive rally last week with an expected pullback. The full one month chart below gives you a much better view of the price action of our beloved token!

The overall picture is looking very positive this weekend so far!
For a little under a year now I have been participating with the Saturday Savers community here on Hive. You set a primary and a secondary goal to achieve here on Hive, or even outside of Hive, to achieve. Every week you review your progress and make changed in strategy, if needs be, to ensure you reach those benchmarks you have set. I also have several other goals beyond the two primary ones, and I'll talk more about some of those today.
Let's get started!
Hive Power
This year's primary goal is to reach 10,000 staked HP.
Current HP: 8,182 (81.8%) complete
Goal HP: 10,000
I increased my HP by 140 this week, really not too bad a week overall. If I keep up this pace I should make it there easily within a few months. In the back of my mind I have been hoping to make it to 12K this year, but first I have to make it to 10K! Hopefully once the first benchmark is achieved I can push even higher!
PIMP
Reaching 50,000 staked PIMP was my secondary goal on the year. Having already achieved it feels great. This week I picked up a little extra at a good price, so now I'll be making a slow march towards the 100K PIMP club!
PIMP: 52,286 (104.6% complete)
Goal: 50,000
Having completed this goal will allow me to focus on getting my HP to 10K faster as well as invest in some other projects. But I will still pick up some more PIMP when the price is right. PIMP is the only token on Hive that is backed by both BTC and physical silver!
DUO
Coming up on a year ago now, I started a token project with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman called DUO token. If you stake 200 DUO you receive daily Hive dividends and a curation on your quality posts once a day as well. For those who stake 500 you are able to tip someone else's post with some DUO, in return you receive the same amount of the tip in your account as well. Not a bad deal!
My current holdings:

Goal: 2,000
I don't have a hard goal here, but would like to end up with more than 2K this year. I'm up 110 on the week, so pretty good! The current tranche of tokens is quickly vanishing at the current 1 Hive price. Only 5,666 left and then the price jumps to 1.5 Hive each. So I may have to buy more up before the price increases!
The @duo-curator account already has more that 42,636 HP and is growing daily.

LEO
This year I had set a goal to reach 5,000 Leo. This past week I finally managed to buy my way up to the goal

Goal is 100% complete
Part of the reason I wanted to hit 5K is it gives me two more stake based curations per month which is a nice perk. That gives me six a month! I got lucky and found a good price that allowed me to by up the tokens I needed. Patience and diligence finally paid off!
EDSI
EDSI has been one goal I've been working on slowly this year, and continue to do so. I'm up one token this week.
EDSI: 126
Soft goal is to make it to 200, I'll need to pick up the pace if I'm going to hit 200, but this is not a primary or even secondary goal. Like I mentioned it's a soft goal that would be great to achieve, and hopefully I will!
CCD
I continue to hold and slowly build up my CCD holdings. I want to reach one million this year, but it is a very soft goal.

This project was created by @powerpaul who has been building the @cryptocompany for three years now. The in game currency is the CryptoCompany Dollar (CCD). Benefits of staking it can be significant. Silver and Gold
Both gold and silver had a down leg this week which makes for a great buying opportunity. These precious metals will likely be significantly higher in just a few months, and gold may yet hit $4,000 per Troy ounce this year! The only practical way to buy gold right now is in small quantities often called micro gold. That is unless you have an extra $3.3K burning a hole in your pocket. I don't have that problem unfortunately...

Like I said, a slight drop in price could mean a great buying opportunity!
I like to showcase some silver or gold that is on special every week, and this week there is a great deal on some PAMP Suisse one gram gold bars! PAMP is one of the best known and reliable companies that produce gold products in the world.

Both silver and gold will be great bets down the road, and historically they are a great way to build wealth.
So far this year I've already achieved two goals, so now to make that HP turn past the magical 10,000 mark! It's going to take some work, but very achievable.
