Hi Sammy, certainly, and thanks for the question. This type of logistics exists and is one of the most effective.
We can say that Supply Chain Management is the integrated management of all the activities involved in the production and distribution of a product or service. It includes procurement, production, logistics, and information management. It shouldn't be confused with logistics! Supply Chain Management is broader than logistics, which is only an operational part of it.
