Hello readers,
I hope all of you are having an amazing day surrounded by your loved ones! Well, if you are a Hive user, which you probably are if you are reading this, then you have likely come across and have been using the Hive-Engine, a platform tied to your Hive account. While your Hive wallet stores Layer 1 tokens like Hive and HBD, Hive-Engine is the place where all of your Layer 2 tokens are stored. You can simply navigate to Hive-Engine by going to the website www.hive-engine.com and then just login using your Hive keychain and here you can see all of the layer 2 tokens that you possess.
Hive-Engine contains a large no of Layer 2 tokens representing tribes or projects built on this blockchain and whereas Some Layer 2 tokens are earned by using their tags while Publishing posts or staking them and curating other’s posts, while others need to be bought directly from Hive-Engine and can not be earned as curation or author rewards. Generally, these tokens come from different tribes, communities and projects within the Hive blockchain, each offering unique opportunities or use cases. Now just like all of you. I also have a handful of different types of Hive tokens and in this post, let me take you through my top 3 Hive-Engine tokens and why I believe in them! So if you are interested, let’s jump right in without any further ado.
LEO
Website - https://www.inleo.io
LEO is the token I believe the most among all my Hive-Engine tokens and also a large portion of my overall Layer-2 token valuation comes from my Leo holdings and for good reason. For those who don't know, it's the one and only native token of Inleo, a vibrant web3 social media platform built on the decentralized Hive blockchain. Inleo allows users to share both long-form blogs and short posts or threads, similar to popular apps like X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook. The platform has made great strides in becoming a strong Web3 social media space, offering seamless experiences for users who want to explore decentralized content.
Why do I love LEO? It is because this token represents my favorite Hive project Inleo and as for usability, by staking LEO tokens, you can upvote others’ content, and in return, you not only earn more LEO tokens as rewards but also gain more influence in the community and more interactions and possible rewards for your posts. With a growing and passionate community, LEO has weathered many challenges and still only Growing larger over time, making it a project worth believing in. Currently, I hold a total of 11,506+ staked LEO tokens, and I am as usual saving up more that I generate through my author and curation rewards for the next LPUD (Leo Power Up Day). The market has been rough lately, and currently, LEO is trading at about $0.0302 per token, but I am in it for the long haul and strongly believe that in the future this token will do amazing and probably give us a great return!
LEGION
Website - https://www.brofi.io/tokens/legion
The next token in my favorite list is LEGION, a token tied to the Bro community on Hive. It is a dividend-based token, meaning you can earn daily liquid Hive tokens and also for large holders, they get a decent value vote on your blog post depending on how much LEGION they have staked. What is cool about LEGION is the promise it holds for the future. Right now, it offers daily Hive payouts to its holders, irrespective of any minimum holding threshold, but the Bro community has hinted that LEGION will have even more uses later on. On top of that, higher holders who hold at least 1000 Legion tokens get extra perks like votes on their posts. I currently have 2,000 LEGION tokens and for my holding amount, I get 75% vote from the Legion account which is valued at around 0.650$, which is a great support if you wrote posts often. If anyone is interested in Legion, you may consider buying Legion right now as it trades for $0.175 per token which is a good deal, not financial advice though.
BRO
Website - https://www.brofi.io
Last but not least, let me shed some Light on BRO, the main token of the Bro community. Holding BRO token is like having a share in the community - it may be treated like owning stocks of the Bro company itself! The more BRO you have, the more rewards you earn in the form of weekly Hive dividends and daily votes on your posts. Right now, BRO is selling at $1.637 per token and in spite of the bear market, it has gained a good valuation over time. Currently, I hold a total of 50 BRO tokens and my plan is to double that amount soon. Even though the crypto market is down and so does the Hive votes value, BRO helps keep things steady with its consistent payouts and votes. So I personally think it is a great way to earn extra rewards while participating in an active community.
My Thoughts
These three Layer 2 tokens - LEO, LEGION, and BRO are not just tokens to me, they are powerful tools that help me engage with the Hive community, earn rewards and grow my portfolio gradually over time. Whether it is through curation, staking or dividends, each of these tokens adds something valuable to my Hive-Engine wallet and as you can see, most of my Hive-Wallet valuation comes From these 3 tokens. So if you are looking to expand your own token collection, these are definitely worth considering. As always, this is not financial advice and please make sure to do your research and invest wisely.
I hope you liked reading my post and if you are also holding these tokens in your wallet, let me know what you thought about them in the comment section below. That’s all for today readers and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
