The title came from the mud guard of this truck we were following on our way to La Union.
Anyway, I would like to share the situation on the road along the way.
We left our house around 5 p.m. and it was still bright. However, it was raining so it was a bit foggy.
We live in a community which is five kilometers away from town so mostly, there are pine trees along the way.
Upon arrival in the highway in town, there was already a slightly heavy traffic. We lost the Smooth Operator truck in town too. He was leading somewhere else.
When we got to the highway leading to La Union, it was already 6 p.m. and very foggy.
There were two cars ahead of us and it looks like we were on a convoy because of the reduced speed. If it was this foggy, would you turn on your hazard lights? I swear they are blinding.
As we moved along, this is what one can see on the outside:
This is not a camera effect and while it was taken while the car is moving, this is actually what you can see outside. It was near zero visibility.
We arrived in La Union at around 8:30 after navigating through the foggy highway. Once in La Union, the fog was also gone. The usual trip going to La Union is less than an hour and 30 minutes but this time, it took us more than two hours.
Nonetheless, we arrived safe.
So how is this in anyway related to Smooth Operator?
Well, this is an appreciation post to my smooth driver. He was calm despite me complaining about the blinding hazard light of the car which was ahead of us. haha
Okay. That's all for now.
