Hello everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the summer season with family vacations and trips. This is my second post from the mountains with my family. In my first post, I shared a little information of living accommodations here with family members. There are numerous places to explore in this area, and each day we spend our time outdoors discovering new things. On the second day, we drove 20 kilometers high into the mountains to visit a place called Sherbuloq, known for its mineral-rich mountain water. The higher we climbed, the more breathtaking the scenery became. It's truly impossible to capture the beauty of nature just through a camera lens.
Sherbuloq is where you can collect water from a spring means Lion Spring, perhaps named so because the water flows out resembling a lion's mouth. After collecting some water, you can go to the mountains via a staircase. However, access to the mountain top is restricted to preserve the natural beauty of the area.
Around, you'll find locals selling salty dried yogurt known as qurut, that and various dried fruits, mountain herbs and snacks to enjoy while trekking through the mountains. Some versions of qurut may include chili or additional herbs before drying. The quruts from the mountains are famous, as the cows here eat from herbs, resulting in vitamin-rich milk.
This was just a small part of our journey on the second day. Stay tuned for more updates!)
