He proved that distance is not a hindrance to celebrating love, care, and appreciation. Despite being miles away from him, he surprised his dad the night before his birthday with a sweet present. Perhaps he is always sweet and truly a very caring son.
Even when he was younger, he used to do it and now that he has grown up, he even became sweeter as he had bought a red velvet cake for him with sweet birthday greetings and a birthday candle as he offered a surprise that was truly so memorable.
Earlier while we were strolling around the mall, he saw a cake shop with enticing cake displays. There was mixed of moist chocolate, caramel, vanilla, red velvet, and more, but my son knows that chocolate was prohibited to me due to my health condition. He knows very well that while I am healing, I need to be aware of what the doctor told me to stay away from. So he decided to have the red velvet cake.
He loved red velvet cake too so the reason why it is the one he chose from the cake shop. He knew that after taking snapshots, he would be the one who would eat the cake and even enjoyed taking several shots and selfies in front of the mirror in the living room of our house.
When we arrived home, how thoughtful he was as he wanted to surprise him as he wanted to send it to his dad. He then asked me to take a photo of him having candid shots with the birthday cake and his birthday wishes across the miles. And that, I am always grateful for having a loving and caring son that knows to appreciate everything despite the distance. Happy Birthday!
