I thought maybe winter would be the end of flowering season of euphorbia milii in my garden. But I was wrong. I googled and found out that the flowering season of Euphorbia milii or Crown of thorns is in spring, summer, autumn and winter. The good news is that I can still enjoy its beauty in a few more seasons, despite the fact that beauty never lasts.
Since it is spring, the crown of thorns flower is blooming again now. I noticed that some branches have new flower buds. There is a possibility that new flowers will bloom from these very soon. I took the pictures 2 days ago. Perhaps these flowers have grown bigger now.
The flower buds seem to be light red or pink. The flowers are green at first. Gradually the flowers turn pink and slightly red. I am quite happy to have so many flowers on the Euphorbia milii in my garden this year. The flowers that will come from the new buds will make my garden look more beautiful.
