I was searching through my photo archives, and stumbled upon the date when I visited this little paradise: 8 years!! How time flies!
Might as well do a #monomad publication, was the thought that came to mind. Can you guess where it was?
It's a place where seaweed farms are still an important part of subsistence to the local communities; I had to do some research until I found out why were all these wooden poles in the water, I confess. It was the first time I saw them. The way this local is sitting and contemplating the view can probably give you a hint of the continent, at least. Right?
If not... well, it's a place with volcanoes, beautiful volcanoes.
This is one of the biggest ones, if my memory doesn't fail me, and I was lucky to capture the moment whe the tip appeared above the clouds. The name I can't recall, although I know I was contemplating it on the same beach where I saw the seaweed farms.
Nothing yet?
It's a place with a lot of fascinating creatures. And lizards, HUGE lizards!
Lizard sculptures like this one are a good representation of the real lizards. And no, no need to be scared; as with most wildlife, if you don't mess with them, they won't mess with you.
While you're not lizard spotting, it's also a place where you can lay by the beach or swim in the warm waters, and admire stunning sunsets.

What do you say? Not enough clues? I know, I could have chosen way more typical ones, but that would take all the fun away. But hey, for the last photo, here's one of the landscapes that is normally associated with this destination.
Bali, Indonesia. And the nearby islands. Can't believe it's been so long!
