Si eres un fan del arte, diseño y arquitectura de edificios es un placer compartir con ustedes estas hermosas construcciones que destacan la ciudad de la habana, Cuba, donde existen oportunidades infinitas para aquellos viajeros amantes de las artes visuales y la historia en general.
Aquí tienes algunas tomas de lugares destacados del centro histórico como participación en el concurso #monomad de @monochromes y @brumest. Que tengan un buen comienzo de semana :)
Walking around the city and observing all these ancient wonders is like going back to the past. While I was walking I was taking some pictures of baroque and classic buildings, which I am sure that if we look for archives of historical documents of Havana in black and white, you will see that the architecture is still very similar.
All these buildings are in perfect condition, despite the fact that many of them are 100 years old.
Caminar por la ciudad y observar todas estas maravillas antiguas, es regresar al pasado. Mientras caminaba iba tomando algunas fotos de edificaciones barrocas y clásicas, que estoy seguro que si buscamos archivos de documentos históricos de la habana en blanco y negro, verán que la arquitectura aún es muy parecida.
Pues todas estas construcciones están en perfecto estado, a pesar de muchas llevar 100 años de existencia.
As it usually happens, architectural styles express the historical stage in which they were built, but Havana is much more complex than that. Urban development has been irregular and closely linked to the socioeconomic life of the country, which contributes to a disparity mistaken for eclecticism, as a certain order can be appreciated in the visual chaos.
Neighborhoods and emblematic constructions stand out in any tour, according to the urban expansion from the intramural village to the working class neighborhoods in the periphery.
Como suele suceder, los estilos arquitectónicos expresan la etapa histórica en que fueron construidos, pero La Habana es mucho más compleja que eso. El desarrollo urbanístico ha sido irregular y muy aparejado a la vida socioeconómica del país, que aporta una disparidad confundida con eclecticismo, al apreciarse cierto orden en el caos visual.
Barrios y construcciones emblemáticas descuellan en cualquier recorrido, acordes a la expansión urbana desde la villa de intramuros hasta los repartos obreros en la periferia.
The tour of the capital could not miss these two iconic fortresses of Havana, built in the Spanish Colonial period to protect the city from pirates and enemy powers.
En el recorrido por la capital no podía faltar estas dos fortalezas icónicas de La Habana, construidas en la etapa Colonial Española para proteger la ciudad de piratas y potencias enemigas.

El Muro, located in front of the Museum of the Revolution.
This last solid and lofty building that stands in the old town as an authentic exponent of the traditional Russian structure is the Orthodox Cathedral of Our Lady of Kazan, the first in Cuba and one of the few in Latin America.
I love it presents a magnificent cleanliness, organization and Slavic religious art.
Este último edificio sólido y alomado que se alza en el casco antiguo como una auténtica exponente de la estructura tradicional rusa es la Catedral Ortodoxa Nuestra Señora de Kazán, es la primera en Cuba y una de las pocas en América Latina.
Me encanta presenta una magnífica limpieza, organización y arte religioso eslavo.
