After Sunday, the day we had the last preparations for the vacation trip, I started the car engine and started the trip.
It would not have been an excessively strenuous journey if it had not been necessary to cross the borders between three countries and pass through the smoky regions of Macedonia and Greece, which are under fire.
Several columns in front of the border crossings with a long line of vehicles moving very slowly, first between Serbia and Macedonia, and after a few hours later between Macedonia and Greece, made this journey more tiring than it would otherwise be.
When you add to that crowd the smoke that hung over us on several occasions, it's easy to lose all the charm of the trip.
With a delay of 4 hours, which is how much we lost at the borders (luckily I managed to change the slowest column and made it not 5 or 6 hours), when we arrived at the hotel tired and without excessive desire to go to the beach, we dropped to the pool.
First impression?
Even though everything around us bursts with colour, before our tired eyes, we still see colourless images.
The sun is trying its best to restore color to this day of ours, to dispel the smoke from memory, but the question is whether it will be able to restore the colors that were sucked out by the frenzied crowd throughout the morning.
I don't think it will work and that after refreshing myself with Frapee coffee by the pool, in my room, I will have darkness in my eyes.
At least until the evening, how long will I need for vacation, when the pictures will be night again, black and white, for another #monomad challenge.
Luckily, after this black and white day comes the second, then the third... 🙂
