Small Changes, Big Difference 💪❤️

Hello everyone!

Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏

I’m happy to share that in just a few days, I already lost 1.1 kg by simply minimizing my rice intake! 😍 It may sound small to others, but for me, it’s already a big achievement and a great motivation to continue. I realized that it’s really about discipline, consistency and little by little, it works. 💪

These days, I’ve been replacing rice with sweet corn especially during dinner. And if there’s leftover, I eat it again during breakfast or lunch. I only eat about 1 cup or less of rice per day, and that already satisfies me. I still eat the same viand like my favorite pork adobo but I just lessen or totally skip the rice. Sometimes I eat it with lettuce instead and dip it in the adobo sauce. The taste is still delicious and fulfilling, just a bit healthier! 😄

And of course, I always pair it with a cup of coffee, my favorite! ☺️

Aside from eating less rice, I’ve also been doing a few simple exercises daily. Nothing too heavy, just enough to move my body and sweat a little. 😅 I’m still working on my goal of doing 10,000 steps a day, but I’m trying my best to be consistent. 🤭

What I’ve learned through this journey is that discipline really starts in the mind. It’s not easy to control eating habits, especially when you’re used to having rice every meal. But once you make the decision and focus on your why, it becomes a little easier each day. ☺️

For me, I want to feel healthier, lighter, and more confident again. I’ve gained weight since I stayed in Manila, around 7 kg, and that’s one of the reasons I started making small changes. I may not reach my dream weight right away, but what matters is that I’m making progress. 💪

It feels good to see even a small result because it means my effort is paying off. It reminds me that every small step counts whether it’s skipping one more spoon of rice, walking a few extra steps, or simply choosing water instead of soda.

I know it’s a long journey, but I’m hopeful that with faith, discipline, and patience, I can continue this habit even when I go back to Leyte. 💪

Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖

Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!

Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀

Everyday is worth to be grateful of!

You're absolutely right! 😊
I really noticed that corn keeps me full longer compared to rice, and it feels lighter too.
