It’s now my two weeks at home, and I’m really grateful that I feel so much better. After the days I spent being sick and just resting in my room, finally I can move around normally again. Being home truly gives a different kind of comfort with the air feels lighter, the food tastes better, and somehow, even when things are not perfect, my heart is more at peace. ❤️
And last Friday, we had a very simple but meaningful celebration at home because it was the birthday of my niece, Ashley. She just turned 17 years old. She's another year older, wiser, and more beautiful. We didn’t prepare anything grand, but like always, the best celebrations are those shared with family. ❤️
When Ashley arrived home from school, the table was already set with the food we prepared. It was just a simple spread, but it was full of love. ❤️
It was truly a family dinner at home, and that alone made it special. My nephew Nathan was probably the happiest that night. He’s always excited whenever there’s spaghetti, chicken, and cake. His smile in the pictures says it all. Kids really remind us how simple joys matter the most. ❤️
And of course, the birthday celebrant looked so happy and blooming. Seventeen is such a sweet age — young, hopeful, and full of dreams. I pray that she continues to grow with kindness, wisdom, and strength. Her simple smile brings warmth to the house. ☺️❤️
I also took more pictures of her with her simple cake and happiest moments blowing the candle. These small moments show how real and simple home celebrations are. No fancy decorations, no big gatherings, just family together in one place. ❤️
